Benjamin Zappin, L.Ac. practices acupuncture and herbal medicine in San Francisco and also works at two community clinics in the East Bay. Benjamin believes strongly in the notion that a physician should be a teacher and encourages the use of herbs and foods for self care. He has been on the faculty of Five Branches University of TCM, the American School of Herbalism in Santa Cruz, and the East West School of Herbology. Ingrid Bauer
Ingrid's background includes organic farming, herbal medicine, natural foods cooking, and Western medical training. Ingrid studied Western and Chinese herbs at the American School of Herbalism in Santa Cruz, California. She is a first year medical student in the UCSF/UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program. Her master's research involves herbal medicine among underserved immigrant communities in the Bay Area. As a new parent, Ingrid is finding daily opportunities to apply her herbal skills, developing medical knowledge, and inner calm as her son Sylvan grows.

Joshua Muscat, Clinical Herbalist
Joshua Muscat is a western herbalist in his sixteenth year of clinical practice, and has been formally studying herbal medicine for the past twenty years. His education in the art of herbalism includes studies at the Pacific School of Herbal Medicine, the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, as well as studied with Chuck Garcia, a Curendero, and with Herbalist Karyn Sanders.
